Chayya Syal

Chayya is a freelance writer and blogger who works for various newspapers, magazines and corporations in London. She has been writing for as long as she can remember and has a deep love for all things creative, digital and literary. In 2012, she set up her own blog "Avid Scribbler" which has gone to have an international readership, media interest and is ever growing. In 2014, she wrote and self-published her first e-book - "Colour Me In" - a series of short stories about racial identity in the West. It was also during this time that Chayya set up her own start-up business where she helps businesses with marketing, social media and communications.
She is passionate about identity, Feminism, women's issues, politics, sustainable development, business and socio-economics.
