Corinna Ferguson

Legal Officer for Liberty, The National Council on Civil Liberties

Corinna Ferguson is Legal Officer for Liberty (the National Council on Civil Liberties). After obtaining a degree in English and undertaking the law conversion course, she worked as an intern at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. She qualified as a barrister in 2005 and practised in the field of employment and discrimination law for over two years before taking up a one-year appointment as judicial assistant to the Law Lords. She started working at Liberty in August 2008, representing individuals with human rights claims and conducting interventions on behalf of Liberty in other cases which raise significant human rights issues.
