Dan has over 14 years’ experience across all aspects of people and talent management, HR and procurement, working with both fast-paced SMEs and global blue-chip organisations. He has on-site delivery experience with the largest energy and telecoms retail businesses in the UK as well as the largest American and UK banks. Dan moved on from 5 years IT recruitment into HR and procurement consultancy focusing on RPO design, delivery and managed service sales. He has managed onsite delivery teams that received recognition from Personnel Today for ‘outstanding achievements in outsourcing’. He joined Xceed in 2008 to implement arguably the most cost efficient staffing and sourcing model in London. Xceed does 100% direct hiring, with over 75% by recommendation and referral, resulting in a cost per hire below 3%.

A PRINCE2 Practitioner he has successfully sourced positions ranging from £11,000 pa to £6m packages and day-rates from £4.00pph to £2800pd for over half of the FTSE 100 as well as more than 100 Start-Ups and SMEs. At Xceed Dan is responsible for global sourcing and services, including talent attraction, selection and development as well as marketing, communications and PR. He initiated and maintains Xceed's continuous improvement programme, the Xceed Way and the People Framework whilst supporting learning and development, organisation design, reward and motivation, and the overall people strategy. Dan is a strong advocate of hiring for attitude and has deep interest in behavioural economics.
