Darren is the CEO of UKTV. UKTV is a commercial broadcaster reaching over 40m viewers every month with close to 10% market share. The award-winning network is home to eleven imaginative brands - UKTV Play, Dave, W, Gold, Alibi, Yesterday, Drama, Really, Home, Eden and Good Food. These include the two most popular non-PSB channels in the UK. Darren also serves on the Advisory Board of the Kyriakou family owned Antenna Group, a diversified media business with investments in high profile US digital companies Vice, Twitter, Spotify and Facebook, as well as European Pay TV, Broadcasting, and Radio. Prior to UKTV, he held international positions as Global MD for BBC Worldwide, European SVP for Sony Pictures and spent 8 years based in Asia working for Hutchinson owned Star TV, and News Corp owned Star TV.
