Dave Irwin

I am currently a Crew Manager in Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service, I am coming up to my 18th year in the service. I live in Oxclose, Washington with my wife Nicola 35, son Jack(13), Nathan(foster son 14) and Chanelle (foster daughter 17) We have been fostering coming up to 3 years now. I am also a part time Youth Worker in the Washington area which I have been doing for over 12 years now. We have always had a positive relationship with Ross's mam Debbie, Nicola and Debbie are really good friends. As a family we enjoy family holidays abroad together as Nicola is a home working travel agent, Ross had started to come with us on these family holidays and was due to come to Tenerife in Feb this year and Miami/Orlamdo in July this year until his accident. I enjoyed Saturday nights when Ross would come and stay over, we would sit drinking vodka, putting the world to rights and having a power struggle over the remote control to see who could put the worst music on the TV, the only time we ever agreed was if Daft Punk came on.
