Dr Mike Knapton
Resident GP and Associate Medical Director for the British Heart Foundation
Dr Mike Knapton is Associate Medical Director for the British Heart Foundation, and a working GP in his home town of Cambridge. He trained at Cambridge University, and has several decades of medical experience - especially working with heart patients. At the British Heart Foundation Mike is responsible for developing ways to help all people at risk of, or affected by, heart disease – the UK’s single biggest killer. He leads the charity’s efforts to prevent avoidable heart disease, save lives, and maximise recovery and quality of life.
