I'm currently acting CEO of StopSO (Specialist Treatment Organisation for the Prevention of Sexual Offending), www.stopso.org.uk, an organisation that trains therapists to work with actual or potential sex offenders or anyone worried about their sexual thoughts, and which links clients with therapists local to them.
I'm the author of 'Understanding and Addressing Adult Sexual Attraction to Children' (Routledge, 2009) and 'Paedophiles in Society: Reflecting on Sexuality, Abuse and Hope' (Palgrave, 2011).
I was previously a senior lecturer and Director of the Research &
Policy Centre for the Study of Wellbeing in Communities, at Winchester University, Hampshire.
