Chief Executive of the Advertising Standards Authority

Guy joined the ASA in 1992 and has held a wide range of positions in the organisation. He became Chief Executive in June 2009, having previously been Deputy Director General, Director of Complaints and Investigations and Secretary of the Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP). He oversees all executive functions of the regulatory system, including the investigation of complaints, monitoring and enforcement, policy development, the provision of CAP advice and training, communications, marketing, public affairs and research. Guy is also an Executive Committee member of the European Advertising Standards Alliance.
