Hannah Franklin is the great niece of Rosalind Franklin and the first in the family to study science since Rosalind. She is just starting the third year of her Biomedical Science degree in the School of Life Sciences at the University of Sussex and Professor Serpell will supervise her dissertation this year. She is 20 years old.
