Hekate Papadaki

Hekate Papadaki is a human rights campaigner and feminist who works for Rosa Fund, the only UK-fund for women and girls. At Rosa, Hekate manages the Tackling Female Genital Mutilation Initiative and supports Rosa's work to promote equality and justice for women and girls in the UK. Hekate has worked and campaigned to promote equalities for disadvantaged groups in the UK for the past ten years. In 2013 she was recognised as one of the most influential Londoners by the Evening Standard. Hekate is also a writer with her work shortlisted for the prestigious Bridport prize short story competition, the Kingston University Press Life Writing Competition, and selected for staging at the Manchester 24:7 theatre festival.
