Headteacher at St Mark’s CE VA Primary School in Swanage, Dorset

Helen started her teaching career at a British Forces school in Munster, Germany whilst Tony was serving in the Army. After six great years in Germany Helen and Tony decided to move back to the UK and settle in Dorset. On returning to England Helen took up the position of Year One teacher at St Mary’s Catholic First School in Dorchester where she eventually became the Deputy Head. She moved to Swanage five years ago to take up her present position at St Mark’s commuting daily from Dorchester. Helen is committed to providing a culture of education that promotes diversity, inclusion and supports young people to develop their personality and talents to the full.
