Hugo Clark is a director and head of retail property strategy for Deloitte Real Estate. A Chartered Surveyor by training, Hugo has extensive board-level retail property experience. Having obtained a degree in English Literature from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge (specialising in Shakespeare) Hugo embarked on a property career that has been split evenly between major Chartered Surveying practices and the Big Four Accountants. Throughout his career Hugo has stayed close to his literary roots producing numerous articles and thought pieces including the widely publicised “Where did all the shops go?”
