Community activist working towards improving quality of life

I live in the London Borough of Harrow. I’m a retired Harrow Councillor and retired Inspector of Schools (did Ofsted school inspections).
As a councillor I was involved with planning, standards and education.
My long standing socio-political work has been to improve quality of life – I’m particularly interested in equality for all, social welfare and care – my specialism is to evaluate institutional policies and practices in a variety of settings, including in the areas of equal opportunities and social justice.
I'm researcher for Harrow Council for Justice, and Harrow Monitoring Group.
I regularly write in the local and national newspapers.
I enjoy photography - still and video. My other hobbies are website designing and desktop publishing.
