But before you get too excited, it was only for a night out rather than a return to the small screen *sadface*.
The star caught up with Alfonso Ribeiro - aka Carlton Banks - and rapper DJ Jazzy Jeff - who played Will's best mate on the show - as the trio headed to see Will's real-life son play a DJ set in London.

Alfonso was also joined by wife Angela Unkrich at Boujis nightclub, as Trey Smith took to the decks.
While Will went on to achieve further success with music followed by a Hollywood career when 'Fresh Prince' finished in 1996, Alfonso and Jeff have stepped out of the spotlight in recent years, but they have all remained good friends.
And prompted by their reunion, what better excuse is there to relive your youth with this (we can still remember all the words)...
While in London, will also met with the London Mayor Boris Johnson at a celebration for Mr Johnson's Leadership Clubs, which offer extracurricular activities for 10 to 14-year-olds.
Boris told the Hollywood actor: "My first rap, I haven't really set it to music yet.
Perhaps with your help. I can send you a lyric. It was about the Queen's silver jubilee."

The outrageous singer can be seen downing her own urine in a clip for her reality show 'My Crazy Beautiful Life', after a friend told her of how she knows a woman who drinks it everyday.
"Isn't it good for you?" Ke$ha asks, before quickly declaring: "I'll drink my own pee."
Off camera, Ke$ha - who is in a car at the time - pees into a plastic bottle, much to the bemusement of her travelling companions.
They then recoil in horror as she brandishes the pee-filled bottle and takes a glug.

According to The Sun, Sam has persuaded her beau to stay on the ITV2 show after he threatened to quit unless he was given a better pay deal.
A source told the paper: "Joey is one of the biggest stars on Towie and with that comes a lot of pressure, which he sometimes finds hard to take.
“His people asked bosses for an enhanced deal in order for him to stay, but producers held firm. Sam told him she really wanted him to stay on the show, and he has now agreed to return.”

The whole cast have jetted out to the Spanish town to film the annual summer special of the reality show, and they all look to have been sticking to their mantra of 'no carbs before Marbs', showing off their beach bods.

Myself, Angelina and Sharon Osbourne have come out recently and said that we carry the BRCA gene and it gives us such a high chance of breast cancer.
"I think Angelina has made a choice - actually later in life than most women do, to have this surgery but for us to come forward and speak about it can only be a positive thing. The more people that know and are educated about what’s going on, about the gene, it can only possibly save lives in the future," she added.

Sara is currently covering new mum Fearne Cotton's show on the station and tweeted ahead of her return to the show on Monday.
