After a very long wait, Spring has finally arrived in Paris. For Vogue Paris April 2013, guest star and photographer Mario Testino took us to his homeland to see the history, culture and beauty of Peru. Vogue Paris discovered the best restaurants, bars and shops from the beaches of Lima to the historical Cuzco, as well as the breath-taking scenery that plays a huge part in the country's identity. Within the April issue, models Isabeli Fontana, Aymeline Valade, Erin Wasson, Kasia Struss, Kate Moss and more strike a pose, surrounded by gorgeous sites atop Machu Picchu and among Inca ruins, or along the legendary geoglyphs in the Nazca desert.
Flipping through the issue, see cover girl Isabeli Fontana alongside Aymeline Valade, as the two models embody the styles and personalities found in Peru for Mario Testino. Kasia Struss is also found in the glossy pages as she appears in an editorial dedicated to the Peruvian mountain style, wearing denim, knits, colourful layers and folky jewels. In the last portion of Testino's fashion triptych, Erin Wasson draws inspiration from German archaeologist Maria Reiche and searches the Nazca desert for insight into the mysterious geoglyphs of stylized hummingbirds, monkeys, dogs and other animals, carved into the earth. Don't miss our exclusive video of life behind the scenes on this desert shoot. And, the issue starring Mario Testino wouldn't be complete without an appearance by his longtime friend, Kate Moss. Testino first met Moss backstage after her first John Galliano runway show when he went to congratulate the young model and found her in tears, upset over her runway walk. 15 years later, the photographer and model are still fashion superpowers, and together, created an editorial spread that exudes Lima's artistic lifestyle.

Jewelry designers Jo Hayes-Ward, Jacqueline Cullen and eight others are starting a British invasion in Paris this spring as they take over the Elsa Vanier gallery until 30 April.
An invasion of British jewellery designers has hit the City of Light. Hand-picked talents from London's prolific jewellery design scene, ten designers each with their own distinct style have brought a printemps anglais to Paris and set up in Elsa Vanier's gallery in the iconic Saint Germain-des-Près neighbourhood. As the gallery celebrates its tenth anniversary, the jewellery talents - one for each year - show off their unique, inspired and powerful pieces in a return to the jewellery roots that first inspired Elsa Vanier when she visited London's Goldsmiths' Fair and other galleries throughout the city.
Among the ten designers, a few bright, young talents have emerged including award-winning Jo Hayes-Ward who we discovered at theBritish Fashion Council's Rock Vault event at London Fashion Week, where she explained that her structural, pixilated designs are based on moulds created using a 3D printing technique for a highly precise finish. With an architectural aesthetic to her jewellery, the Royal College of Arts graduate works in a digital environment, creating designs with unusually cut stones and interlocking gold, silver and other precious metals, like palladium. Seen in the gallery, her pixel rings seem to be built up of tiny cubes, and the Structure bracelet combines simple forms to create intricate designs.
Also showing with the best of British, is the notable Jacqueline Cullen whose work has been featured in collections throughout Great Britain, Switzerland and the USA. Jacqueline takes inspiration from the extraordinary happenings that occur in nature, and brings jet, gold and diamonds together to emulate a dramatic flash of lightening or the groundbreaking effects of an earthquake.

After its takeover of the Parisian department store Printemps Haussman for the 2012-winter season, Dior has now partnered with Harrods, dressed their windows in the iconic Christian Dior grey and white, and decorated the store with red British post and telephone boxes. As the display windows were revealed on March 14, 2013, the fashion set arrived at the shop to welcome the new exhibition, including model Natalia Vodianova who was the epitome of French chic in a little black dress from the Dior Fall/Winter 2013-2014 collection.
The exhibition runs until April 14 and is set to host several exclusive events. Besides Dior's windows dedicated to icons of British culture, the Brompton Road store will house two covetable collections by the French couture house: one featuring tartan-clad Lady Dior bags and Harrods bears, and another with Dior beauty products influenced by the English Rose. To top off the entente-cordiale, the Beefeaters will pose in front of the department store wearing uniforms especially designed by Dior's creative director, Raf Simons and the Café Dior has set up in Harrods' fourth floor Gregorian Restaurant. In an 18th century décor drawing on Mr. Dior's passion for the era, shoppers can enjoy some of his favourite fine foods including a must-try lobster sandwich and pretty Dior cupcakes. The Dior at Harrods takeover also will hold events throughout the month featuring exclusive beauty treatments, personal portraits sketched by Dior artists, and specially engraved perfume bottles.

The hub of Made in Italy design welcomed the fashion crowd with swathes of fur, mysterious 1940s glamour and rock looks from the ages. As woollen coats appeared at Jil Sander and Marni, film noir heroines from the 1940s starred on the Prada and Bottega Veneta runways.
The vibe in Milan was thick with these heavy fabrics, elegant, elongated cuts and timeless silhouettes, but some designers like Karl Lagerfeld, Donatella Versace and Peter Dundas contrasted the main themes, presenting rock inspired collections dedicated to the folky feel of the 1960s and 70s and the 1980s punk movement. Vogue Paris bundled up for the Milan chill to give you a rundown of the best looks seen on the Italian catwalks.
