James is a policy and communications specialist in the health sector. Formerly a director for a Westminster based political consultancy, JBP, he has led on successful campaigns such as Save Kids' Content which secured changes to the Digital Economy Act, and the award winning Empower: Access to Medicine which saw the creation of the government's pioneering Early Access to Medicines Scheme. He also led communications for the UK Vaping Industry Association, focusing on health policy and harm-reduction. James previously worked in the criminal justice sector; initially in the prison service supporting a prison governor, then in communications for the police service during a time of significant system reform.
