Jo Harvey Barringer

Managing Director, Broken Rainbow UK

Jo Harvey Barringer started as Broken Rainbow UK’s Managing Director in 2013 having been a committed supporter since 2007. Jo has overseen significant restructuring of the charity to ensure stronger reach and even better support for LGBT individuals affected by domestic violence and abuse.

Jo has played a key role for Broken Rainbow as part of the HMIC review into the police response of DV and now sits on the woking group looking at proposed changes.

Jo has extensive experience in organisational development and holds qualifications in Organisational change and diversity issue. She is also a skilled coach and mentor.

Jo's background is in Mental Health and she holds a diploma in social work, a BSc in
Psychology and MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling. She has worked in specialist therapeutic units, managed mental health housing projects and CAMHS.
