Jumaan Short is an actor, writer and filmmaker who feels passionately about the stories and rights of women and girls. Her short film MOTHER about a mother/daughter relationship which she wrote and co-starred in alongside Miriam Margolyes, is available to view on Film Doo and Amazon. She is currently studying at London Film Academy after being awarded their Pioneers Award scholarship.
