IBM UK and Ireland Global Entrepreneur Programme Lead

Kevin is responsible for developing and nurturing a vibrant and thriving ecosystem of students, academics, startups, business partners and IT professionals already in industry who are aware of, using, and recommending IBM technologies.

He has over twenty-four years’ experience in IBM’s services and software businesses, where he has developed proven leadership, consultancy, analysis, planning, management, communication and negotiation skills. These skills have been honed in numerous diverse program and project environments, both in the UK and internationally.

Kevin continues to develop and leverage relationships at all levels of organisations, both within IBM and externally. His business acumen and leadership approach, combined with unfailing tenacity and enthusiasm, makes him a very effective orchestrator of resources. He overcomes hurdles and maintains balance and professionalism in the most challenging of business environments.

He is a Computer Science graduate with a strong software engineering background, and his practical experience in a variety of IT roles over the years has led to thriving relationships with senior leaders in universities, business partners and clients that are based on a solid foundation of trust, respect and credibility. He has an extensive network of contacts across all of IBM’s lines of business, and around the world, which he uses to connect members of IBM’s ecosystem collaboration initiatives to the right IBM specialists.

Kevin's early experience was gained in IBM's in-house development organisation, and subsequently exploited in IBM's Global Services business by assisting clients in many aspects of developing IT solutions.
