Laura Dosanjh

Director of Applied Innovation at the Young Foundation

Laura leads a team pioneering our work applying the knowledge, tools and innovations developed by the Young Foundation. The team carry out work on social innovation – new solutions to emerging social needs, including those relating to health and ageing, communities and housing, and young people, learning and work. Laura has worked in strategy and research roles at the Audit Commission, the Improvement and Development Agency for Local Government and in consultancy. She has experience across public, private and third sectors and brings an in-depth knowledge of the public sector. She is particularly interested in strategy, change and improvement, and how grass roots innovation can inform these. Laura holds an MBA from INSEAD and is a classicist. She currently chairs the external advisory board for the Philosophy Department and York University.
