.

Lee trained as an actor at London's Central School of Speech and Drama before moving to Beijing in 2010 with his wife Amy, who is an English and Drama teacher. He currently works as a voice artist and TV presenter and is best known in Beijing for writing and presenting Action English, an English learning programme for China's national network CCTV-6.

As a voice artist he has provided narration for several commercials and many educational tapes for the Chinese market, along with work for China Radio International. He also works part-time as an English teacher and regularly writes comment on expat life in China, recently for the China Daily. In between these things he struggles his way through learning Chinese and trying not to fall off his bike.
