Lisa Harker

Head of the Strategy Unit at the NSPCC

Lisa Harker is Head of the NSPCC Strategy Unit. She joined NSPCC in 2011 from the influential thinktank, the Institute for Public Policy Research, where she was director, a role that she job-shared with Carey Oppenheim. Lisa has spent most of her career working in the voluntary sector for organisations, such as the Child Poverty Action Group, and Save the Children. She has also held various senior advisory roles within government, including being appointed the Government's child poverty 'tsar' and helping the HM Treasury devise a 10 Year Childcare Strategy. Lisa lives in Oxford and has two children.
