Louie Matthews' career began in the weird and wonderful world of 'true-life' journalism, chronicling everyday people's brushes with death, love-rats, miracle babies and much, much more. No, they're not made up and what happens in people's lives never ceases to amaze her. Since then, Louie has written for a variety of publications and fits freelance writing in with looking after two energetic children.
Louie is a passionate advocate of top quality maternity care and volunteers at King's College Hospital in South East London. She is an active member of the National Childbirth Trust (NCT).
