Martyn Day

SNP Member of Parliament for Linlithgow and East Falkirk.

Martyn is the SNP Member of Parliament for Linlithgow and East Falkirk, first elected at the 2015 UK General Election.

Brought up in Linlithgow, where he attended Linlithgow Academy, Martyn still lives in the town he represents, and had represented as a Councillor for West Lothian Council since 1999.

Martyn worked in the banking sector before becoming a Councillor, having been a member of the SNP since he was a teenager.

An experienced and effective campaigner, he is a familiar face on the doorsteps in his own area, and wherever the campaign trail takes him.

In his spare time, Martyn enjoys playing guitar, is a great lover of food, and enjoys listening to something from his extensive, yet somewhat eclectic, musical library.
