Matt started out in sports marketing, working mainly within golf and fitness. It was when he realised that life as a professional sportsman was beyond him that he followed his passion for online.
That passion led him to Friends Reunited where he quickly became head of Friends Reunited Dating. During this time the site achieved 3rd place in UK market share and was holding its own against massive players in the US and France.
In 2010 ITV sold the Friends Reunited Group to brightsolid Online Innovation, which saw Matt become the head of the renowned Friends Reunited brand. Since then he has been leading the team and evolving the product from the place to find old school friends, to the home of memories online.
