Natalie Howarth

Charity Director, mum, part time yogi.

I was born in Singapore and spent most of my childhood packing a suitcase and moving from one country to another. My family and I lived in Singapore, Swaziland, Yemen, Kuwait and Thailand.
As a young adult I lived and worked in Tokyo for 4 years. I often get itchy feet as I stare at my suitcase, which is tucked under my bed gathering dust.
I have worked in the Voluntary sector since I was 23 and trained as a Person Centred Counsellor and Art therapist many moons ago.
I am currently the Director of Maytree. A UK national charity that provides a non medical short term residential stay for adults that are feeling suicidal.
I have a 20 year old daughter, who is creative, hard working, caring and sometimes a pain in the back side. But that's her role and I love her unconditionally for who she is.
