Nathan Horrocks

Many Clouds regular rider at Oliver Sherwood's yard

Born in Yorkshire Nathan was raised in Kenya where his father Alan was a top flat jockey riding over 500 winners. At 16 and having never ridden, he went to work for Chris Thornton in Middleham for 2 years. A move to Micky Hammond saw him enjoy a successful career as a jump jockey riding 60 winners. Nathan remained with Micky for 6 years. After retiring from the saddle in 2000 he became a work rider at Mark Johnstons powerful yard and rode horses such as Attraction, Shamardal and Double Trigger. He started riding out here at Rhonehurst shortly after and became Many Clouds regular rider.
