McNamee has been national editor for just over two years. He was previously editor of the Scottish edition. He has worked for the NME, and freelanced for many titles including The Guardian, The Irish Times and Daily Mirror. He was recently named as a British Editor of The Year 2013 by the British Society of Magazine Editors as Editor of The Year 2013 (PPA Scotland).
