Rekha is the founder of Pistachio Rose and Moonrekha. Passionate about connecting startups with big business, Rekha has been in the UK’s startup eco-system since 2011, working in start-up businesses as well as advising them. In 2013 she was appointed as the first Startup
Entrepreneur in Residence for the Department of Business, Innovation & Skills, informing policy and helping to shape the business support landscape.
She went on to launch the
Small Business Charter for Lord Young followed by
MassChallenge UK and is working independently to help large organisations to think and behave more entrepreneurially.
Rekha has spoken in the UK and internationally on the start-up landscape, sharing her
own experiences and best practice from Industry and the UK. In 2016 her efforts were recognised by Her Majesty's Government and she was awarded an MBE for services to enterprise & entrepreneurship.
