Rosie Conroy

Student journalist and food fanatic

Rosie Conroy is a final-year journalism student at the London College of Communication, whose intensely inquisitive nature has always fed her interest in current affairs.

Having lived between Glasgow, Sydney and London, her passion for travel was inexorably sparked; now, she enjoys frequent travel to new destinations in order to immerse herself in varied cultures that nurture her writing profoundly, and sustain her search for nuanced topics and angles.

She enjoys a plethora of creative outlets including, but not limited to: Painting, sewing, writing and cooking. With childhood aspirations of being an artist, her creative ambition was realized when she attended Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design, to complete a foundation diploma in graphic design.

Despite her enthusiasm for the practicality of visual arts, she missed the boundless expression the written word could bring, and so subsequently decided to pursue an academic career in journalism, while still maintaining an avid interest in the arts.

Above all, she enjoys nothing more than spending hours on end perusing cookbooks and hosting dinner parties for friends. This culinary ardor has led to her and a colleague establishing a food blog which extols seasonal, sustainable recipes, restaurant reviews and other epicurean conversations.
