Sophie Anderton International supermodel for nearly two decades, currently DJing

Sophie Anderton has been one Britain’s Supermodels for over a decade with a modelling career extending over 18 years and now she has added DJing to her repertoire of skills. Music and dancing are two of her abiding passions and having put her demons to rest being a DJ is the perfect way for her to enjoy these again.

Sophie first rose to prominence when she secured a three year contract aged just 18 to become the face and body of the infamous Gossard Wonderbra and Gossard Glossies campaigns shot by Herb Ritts. The billboards literally stopped traffic across Europe. The arresting images showcased her sultry beauty and those famous curves to perfection, leading to catwalk appearances for the Fashion elite worldwide. Sophie has walked the catwalks of New York, Paris, Milan and London for Chanel, Escada, Valentino, Vivienne Westwood and many more.....

From here Sophie’s career as a top international supermodel went from strength to strength with campaigns for Chanel, Valentino, La Senza, Louis Vuitton, Top Shop, Marks and Spencer, Wonderbra, Triumph, Debenhams, Saks, Ultra Bra and La Perla to mention just a few.

Sophie has graced hundreds of covers from Vogue to GQ magazine throughout the world, working with top international photographers such as David La Chapelle, Antoine Verglas, Mario Testino and Patrick Demarchelier.

Sophie has been named woman of the year by GQ and twice topped FHM Magazines list of 100 sexiest women in the world, little wonder she is Britain’s foremost lingerie and swimwear model.

Sophie has also enjoyed a varied television career appearing in such shows as I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!, Fear Factor and Cirque de Celebrite. She has also featured in numerous television commercials for brands such as VO5, Colgate, Pepsi, Sony, Faberge Aquatonic, Wonderbra and Debenhams Janet Reger lingerie.

Currently Sophie’s career has taken on a variety of new dimensions. Apart from her DJ work she is proud to be the first Ambassador for QS7D (“Quit Smoking in 7 Days”) a revolutionary new aid designed to help those wishing to quit smoking achieve their goal without fuss.

She is still modelling on a selective basis as well as undertaking endorsements and personal appearances but her real focus is on developing her burgeoning business interests as well as indulging her passion for designing intimates and accessories.

Sophie is also devoting her time to a select few charity interests. She is currently working closely with The Amy Winehouse Foundation to promote their first ever Ball at The Dorchester on 20th November 2012. Their mission statement is “The Amy Winehouse Foundation works to prevent the effects of drug and alcohol misuse on young people. We also aim to support, inform and inspire vulnerable and disadvantaged young people to help them reach their full potential.”

Sophie is also the patron of The Rick Parfitt Jnr Chrones Foundation on whose behalf she has produced an A list fashion show at their annual Ball held at the Hurlingham Club for the last two years.

Looking better than ever having conquered her last addiction, cigarettes, Sophie can still stop traffic but this time, she means business.
