Steve Edwards is author of the memoir Breaking into the Backcountry, the story of his time as the solitary caretaker of Dutch Henry Homestead along the Rogue National Wild and Scenic River in southwestern Oregon. He blogs for The Good Men Project, and his fiction has been published in Electric Literature, AGNI Online, The Fiddleback, and Terrain.org, among others. Educated at Purdue University and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, he is an assistant professor of English Studies at Fitchburg State University in Massachusetts.
