Steven Kolacny

Composer, arranger and co-founder (along with his brother Stijn) of world renowned all-girl choir Scala and Kolacny Brothers

With worldwide sales of their debut album now well in the hundreds of thousands, Scala and Kolacny Bros. ended 2011 in style with stunning appearances on BBC Sports Personality Of The Year and The Royal Variety Show (including the coveted ‘Finale’ performance with Cee Lo Green and Leona Lewis). Their music also featured on the trailers for hit TV show Downton Abbey - most recently their version of ‘Last Christmas’ in the Christmas Special trailer - and on Desperate Housewives for the launch of the new series on E4.

Since first hitting the spotlight in the UK with their re-working of Radiohead’s ‘Creep’ used in the US trailer for ‘The Social Network’, Scala and Kolacny Brother’s upward trajectory has continued exponentially. On top of the unprecedented TV coverage in December, last year saw them headline stages at Coachella and SXSW, command the prestigious midday Sunday slot at Latitude Festival, shoot to the top of the Irish Charts after featuring on Downton Abbey and sell out performances all over the globe.
