Lecturer in Criminology and Sociology at the University of Sussex
Suraj joined the University of Sussex as a Lecturer in Criminology and Sociology after completing his doctorate at Cardiff University. His thesis, entitled ‘Radicalisation as a Moral Career’, is an empirical study of radicalisation in the UK.
Prior to his doctorate, Suraj worked as Researcher for the National Security and Resilience Department within the Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security Studies.
