Founder and CEO of The Children’s Sleep Charity

Vicki Dawson is founder and CEO of The Children’s Sleep Charity, and was once asleep deprived mum. Vicki has worked with children and families with sleep issues for the last ten years and is one of the UK’s leading experts in the field. Vicki has contributed to government sleep information, has lectured extensively on various aspects of behavioral approaches to sleep difficulties in children, and is also involved (via the charity) in several clinical research projects. A qualified teacher with over 18 years’ experience in working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, Vicki is the co-author of a number books, and is regularly featured within the media to talk about sleep, and speaks various national conferences.

The Children’s Sleep Charity was set up in 2012 and is registered with the Charity Commission, with the aim that all children are supported to get a good night’s sleep.
