It's tragic that only 60 babies were adopted in England in the last year. Surely there should have been a zero on the end of that figure.
There are 1.7 million children in England with special educational needs, ranging from dyslexia and Down's syndrome, to autism and attention deficit hyperactivity. The way their needs are met is currently under review by the government. And not a moment too soon.

They shared their vision for our future prosperity and growth with Cambridge Network members in a discussion entitled, Projections for the future of Cambridge.
I will be joining Adoption with Humanity campaigners when they deliver their petition at 10 Downing Street, taking their proposals for adoption reforms straight to the heart of government, on 31 October, the first day of National Adoption Week.
