Trelise Cooper is a big name in fashion in New Zealand, one could even say the Queen of NZ Fashion and her A/W13 show Illuminations celebrates a modern glamour. It was inspired by the Bell Epoque era, promenading on Brighton Palace Pier, the boardwalk lights twinkling and every essence of fabulousness and frivolity.
I love a good designer collaboration; Mary Katrantzou for Topshop, Anna Dello Russo for H&M, Maison Martin Margiela for H&M, Stella McCartney for Adidas, the list goes on. So when I heard that I could have designer style in my home.. I jumped at the chance.
After the joy and madness that was New Zealand Fashion Week, I headed back home just in time for the ultimate fashion week of September's Fashion Mont...
September is my favourite month. Not because it's the end of summer and the nights are drawing in. Not because the kids go back to school but mainly due to it being Fashion Month. The big hefty 1kg+ fashion magazines land on my door step (too big to go through the letter box) and the press pass for New Zealand Fashion Week and London Fashion Week arrives.
September is almost over. Fashion Month will soon have been and gone but before we move on to Christmas Gift Guides and present shopping there is something very special occurring in Kent in the South of England.
