Baroness Oona King is an active member of the House of Lords, Chief Diversity Officer at Channel 4 and a mum of three. Oona began her career as a politician and was only the second black woman MP to be elected in Britain when she she took office in 1997. Oona ran for election as a London Mayoral Candidate in 2010 and was later appointed as a Labour peer in 2011.
