Ben Bankhurst
Dr. Bankhurst is a historian of the social and religious history of the British Atlantic World and the immigration history of early America. He is currently a Research Assistant on the AHRC funded ‘Northern Congregational College Library Project’ run jointly by Dr. Williams’s Library and Queen Mary, University of London.

He has published numerous articles on the history of the Irish Diaspora in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. His first book, entitled Irish Presbyterians, the Scots Irish Diaspora, and War in British North America: 1750-1764 is to be published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2013.
