When it comes to taking to the studio, now a days it is all about the latest technology and the digital revolution. When bands turn technology on its head it can create beautiful results.

With the announcement of Keane's forthcoming release 'Upstairs At United - Vol. 5', they have created a special edition 4 track vinyl recorded in analogue for Nashville based label 453 Music. Available through keanemusic.com, fans get to experience something truly magical. (http://shop.keanemusic.com/index.php/upstairs-at-united-vol-5-06-21-2012-ep.html)

Performing a stripped back version of their tracks, all recordings are captured directly to analogue tape under the leadership of mastering engineer Chris Mara of analogue recording studio Welcome to 1979, then cut to 12" EP's at 45 RPM.

The vinyl, presented in a Kraft-style packaging that highlights the authentic approach used in making these records, include session specific inserts with colour photos from the recording session, and come in archival quality re-sealable poly bags.
