She made the natural transition to freelance music journalist for popular music publications, Touch and Echoes magazines. It wasn't long before she became a resident , columnist for the women's lifestyle magazine Pride before becoming features editor for six years. Her work has taken her around the world where she has interviewed a constellation of stars including Mariah Carey, Isaac Hayes and Janet Jackson to name but a few.
