Tom Hiddleston Plays With A Baby Leopard On James Corden's 'Late, Late Show' And It's Basically Wonderful

(0) Comments | Posted 28 April 2016 | (13:10)

As if we needed any further evidence that hot men and cute animals are a winning combination, Tom Hiddleston has definitely proved it with his latest appearance on ‘The Late, Late Show’.

During his interview with James Corden earlier this week, the ‘Kong: Skull Island’ actor was joined by animal expert Jack Hanna, who brought on some very special guests in the form of baby leopards.

Tom clearly couldn’t wait to get his hands on his adorable new pal, and was immediately besotted, as was fellow guest Thomas Middleditch, who told viewers: “I love cats... I'm eager. I'm so excited.”

Hilariously, Tom appeared to have a bit of trouble keeping his baby leopard under control, remarking that it was using him like “an adventure playground”.

The animal fun didn’t stop there, though, with James getting up close and personal with a bearcat.

He was clearly bemused to learn that the bearcat had enough venom in it to “take down an elephant”, particularly as it was sitting on his shoulder at the time.

James joked: “Jack I love it when you come on but can we please stop talking about how the animals can kill us?”

Fortunately, he quickly cheered up when a penguin came along to join in the fun, gushing: “Oh my God. That is the best. I love penguins so much! I didn’t know. Can I touch him?”

And trust us, if Tom Hiddleston and a baby leopard appeals to you, then you’re definitely going to want to have a look at Tom Hardy’s trip to Battersea Dogs Home.

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond And James May Debut New Teaser For Amazon Prime Series

(0) Comments | Posted 28 April 2016 | (10:44)

All the ol’ gang are back together in the latest teaser for Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond’s new Amazon Prime series.

The former ‘Top Gear’ trio appear together in a new clip, where it becomes evident pretty quickly they’re still struggling to come up with a name for the new show, due to begin streaming on the service later this year.

In the new clip, which is sure to go down well with fans of the team’s tenure as presenters on ‘Top Gear’, Jeremy lists his favourite names for rivers, Richard laments about his Internet browsing history and James tucks into a custard cream, … but one thing they do not do is come up with a name.

The clip ends with the message: “#TheSTILLVeryMuchEntitledClarksonHammondMayAmazonPrimeShowComingAutumn2016”

Jeremy Clarkson recently spoke about the difficulties he was having coming up with a name for the show, writing in his column for the Sunday Times: Every morning, I’d make a £7,000 call to the lawyer with an idea, and every afternoon I’d get a £7,000 reply saying the name was already in use by someone in New Zealand or France or Ukraine. Prime Torque. Autonation. Skid Mark. Everything was a no-no.

“In short, the BBC not only owns the rights to the Stig and the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car and the Cool Wall, but also to any name that is remotely similar to ‘Top Gear’. We tried explaining there’s a show called ‘Fifth Gear’ that doesn’t belong to the BBC but it was no good. Arguing with a lawyer costs more money than we had, so we hurriedly put the phone down and went back to the drawing board.”

Meanwhile, the new series of ‘Top Gear’, with Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc at the helm, is due to make its much-anticipated debut on the BBC next month.
