Darren Gough
Darren had a very successful cricket career where he is remembered as the talisman of the England team and is still England’s leading One Day International wicket taker.

Since retiring from his sporting days Darren has created a highly successful media career, appearing daily on TalkSport’s Drivetime show which was recently nominated for a Sony Award as well as winning BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing in 2005.

Publisher of two cricket books, Darren is now working with Tesco Diets in support of their ‘Lbs for £s’ campaign which promises to turn every pound in weight lost by following one of their diet plans into one pound (£), which will then be donated to Diabetes UK and the Diabetes Federation of Ireland.

Today is World Diabetes Day, a global event to increase awareness around the growing problem of diabetes. This year, however, the date holds greater significance for me.
