The Voice 2015 The Semi Final

Emmanuel is a serious contender, another act who has been brilliant throughout. This was absolutely amazing. His range is off the scale. From the minute he started singing, to the minute he stopped, it was faultless. 10/10

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to The Voice semi-final 2015. The prize for the four successful acts is a place in next weeks grand final.

Like the coaches, Team Midas have picked their own acts. Of the remaining eight, we still have four left. They are Sheena, Stevie, Karis and Lucy. Good luck Team Midas, win or lose, you have done us proud.

First up, it's Team Midas' Lucy and it is the perfect way to open the show. Powerful operatic singing, at its best, I could listen to her all day. Lucy has already achieved one huge goal by being shows' first ever opera singer at the live shows. Can she make it to the final?

Joe has a great future ahead of him and win or lose tonight, I hope this opens doors. It wasn't his best vocal of the series but it was still good enough to put him firmly in with a chance.

Team Midas' Sheena has consistently been one of the best singers of the entire series. She has the whole package. She has an amazing vocal, looks good and has a fun down to earth, likeable personality. This was another master class from Sheena, she has to make the final after that.

Emmanuel is a serious contender, another act who has been brilliant throughout. This was absolutely amazing. His range is off the scale. From the minute he started singing, to the minute he stopped, it was faultless. 10/10

Team Midas' welsh wonder Karis has grown and grown in this competition. This was an emotional, powerful and perfectly executed vocal. It gave me goosebumps and was her best showing of the series. Well done Karis.

Vikesh gives the show the fun element but with a fantastic voice. I don't want to be repetitive but he has delivered every single week and has nailed every single song.

Sasha is very similar to Karis, in that she has got better and better every week and is peaking at just the right time. When she sings you feel every word. I really like her, I think Sasha could sneak into the final after this.

Team Midas' Stevie is, without being biased, a world class performer. When he sings, he sings with the confidence of an established act, returning to showcase their new single, rather than a man singing for a place in the final. This was another faultless vocal and the best of the night. Awesome stuff Stevie.

Next up, it is the coaches and their acts singing together. This is usually a deal breaker, when it comes to the voting public, so it has to work.

Team Sir Tom/Sasha kicked us off and blew the roof off, Team Rita & Team Will were all very good but Team Ricky/Emmanuel/Stevie were my stand out. They looked like a boy, I mean man band.

Now we take a musical guest break, whilst we wait for the result.

Here we go....the four acts in next weeks final are: Sasha, Emmanuel, Team Midas' Lucy and Team Midas' Stevie.

I'm very happy to have two Team Midas acts in the final but obviously gutted to lose Karis and the world class Sheena. Good luck girls.

Right, I'm off to get my suit for the final...see you next week.
