The X Factor 2013 Show Five

Well we are progressing smoothly with the auditions. So far we have had the good, the bad and the maybe a little bit on the ugly side (no names, don't want to hurt anyone's feelings). What delights do we have this week? Here we go.

College mates, Kingsland and their awesome hair have high aspirations. A couple of off notes, but they are keen. Let's see how they get on. Could be the start of something interesting.

The groups keep coming and Brick City were cool and had it going on! Enjoyed their brief appearance.

2012 wasn't their time and Rough Copy came back for another go. The judges were impressed but I feel we have had this before. Nothing new. Sorry lads.

Liddia & Ryan. Well, sorry not for me, or anyone else I think. Obviously couldn't sing. Four no's. Think they were taking the mick really. Well they have had their 15 minutes of fame! As Gary said, they are like a Wasp at a picnic. Love it Gary! I dislike them too.

Giles Potter, aged only 16, gave a great version of Price Tag. Quirky lad and very fun to watch. Great to see a bit of personality in a contestant. Good luck to him as he seemed to wow the judges.

Lydia Lucy (real name?) had a strong voice and sailed through, while Nicholas McDonald, another young 16 year old, gave it his best shot but not in the league of the Westlife boys. Perhaps the judges heard it differently. He got through so let's see how he gets on.

Stephanie Woods returned this year after leaving the show at judges houses in 2007. Wow, a great strong voice and she gave a performance full of confidence. She has already won Sharon's vote.

Samantha Harper was one of those joining the four no's crowd. J-Koda?? What can I say. Not going to waste my ink! Aron Dale, really? Next. Souli Roots sang to cheer us all up and help us out of the recession. I was unsure but the Judges went for it.

Last chance saloon for bus driver James McDonald and Louise Harper. They both showed they really want it. Pleased the judges agreed and put them through. Give them a chance.

Next of Kin have been in the industry for a few years now. I remember the Smash Hits Tour (yes I am that old) but can't remember these lads! They did sing very well though. Go for it lads, hope your second chance works for you. I will be watching with interest.

Let's see on they all get on in the arena.
