Christopher Maloney got the show off to a good start with his first track 'You raise me up.' Great vocal and the more I hear him, the more I can see him having a great career in the West End.
For his second song, Christopher tried his best to cover a Michael Buble track. This being the market Gary Barlow thinks he should be was aiming for. Let's just say, I don't think Mr Buble will be losing any sleep.
Singing his first song as a tribute for his late brother, Jahmene Douglas showed what we already know, boy he can sing. It was very emotional. I have to be honest and admit, I found his second track, a bit boring, nothing against the lad, I just don't think it's for me.
The last band standing, Union J's first song was bang on the money and another safe song followed but I've warmed to these lads and if the boy band market wasn't so saturated, then I think they would be huge.
This wasn't the North East's finest, James Arthurs' best performance of the series but he is still leagues above some of the competition. His second choice showed why it would be a massive injustice if he didn't make the final. World class.
