Denis Hird is the Chief Executive of JTL, the leading skills provider to the building services engineering sector.

Denis has been an influential figure, nationally and internationally, on education, training and skills, for a number of years. Previously, he has been chief executive and managing director of businesses in textiles and clothing, national training providers and government recognised employer organizations.

Denis is an engineering honours graduate, fellow of the institute of engineering and technology and chartered fellow of the chartered institute of personnel and development. He is also a member of numerous boards, committees and panels in the professional, education and voluntary sectors.
