Dr Mark Pack is Head of Digital at MHP Communications (www.mhpc.com) which, as part of the Engine Group, topped the PR Week table for digital consultancies in 2011. Mark advises a wide range of firms and organisations on the use of digital ranging from small health charities to international brands.

He is also Co-Editor, Liberal Democrat Voice (www.libdemvoice.org) and was the party’s Head of Innovations until 2009, running the Liberal Democrat internet general election campaigns in 2001 and 2005. During his time at the Liberal Democrats his team’s firsts included the first UK party leader on Facebook, the first UK party leader on YouTube and the first UK candidate website to take credit card donations. Channel 4 has described him as a “blog guru”.

A regular media pundit on British politics and a fellow of the RSA, he has had a hand as author, contributor or editor to 17 books, including two on election law.

He likes chocolate. A lot.
