I’m a 32 year old Consultant Rheumatologist currently kayaking around the UK to raise awareness of rheumatoid arthritis and funds for the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS). When I was growing up I spent a lot of time with my Auntie Maureen who has severe rheumatoid arthritis and this inspired me to become a Rheumatologist. The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society do a fantastic job helping people with rheumatoid arthritis, their families and carers.
