Dr Stephen Dakin
Dr Stephen Dakin is the Managing Director of Pinesoft, a London-based firm which provides business solutions for major domestic and international firms working in the logistics and distribution industries.

In particular, Pinesoft, which was founded in 1994, is acknowledged as being one of the global leaders in developing new and innovative software systems for both sectors.

Having graduated from Imperial College London with a PhD in biophysics and a degree in physics, Dr Dakin has been instrumental in the creation of systems used by companies in more than 100 countries to process several billion individual items.

They range from the courier system used by Japan’s Overseas Courier Service to handle hundreds of thousands of shipments each day through to the revolutionary PostID process automation toolkit.
